This one will have to be the lone green dot in the middle of yellow smileys for a couple weeks. There is a pair of nesting robins in GZ and well... let's just say they don't want to be disturbed. I had no idea they could be so aggressive! I got dive bombed and feel lucky there was no poo involved!

I was out this way yesterday at lunchtime and had such a good time I decided to come back and clear out the area a little bit. It is finally starting to warm up and feel like summer, the car thermometer said 82 degrees. I hoped for another day without wasps and snakes, and once again nature smiled upon me and I didn't see either one. I wasn't quite as efficient today as I was yesterday, but I enjoyed getting my vitamin D for the day.

Holy Toledo, this one took me a lot of time to locate. I had to wait out a muggle smoking nearly, she was taking a break or getting ready to start her shift driving the shuttle bus that was parked nearby.
I do love the fact this was a SOFT NEEDLE pine tree, not the hard pokey kind, as I had to spend a lot of time in and around it, lol. But once I was coming at it from the right angle, it was easy enough to see the little glorious container. In my looong search I found a praying mantis, a real dragonfly (I thought it was fake at first), and an empty bird's nest. Wow, I feel that I hit the jackpot with this one.
Thanks so much for placing this, as it was immensely gratifying to finally get this smiley and discover all the creatures in this tree!
