The Highlands Ranch Mansion is a unique part of the area and history of Denver, dating back well over 100 years. It was built up over the years by multiple owners until it was purchased by Highlands Ranch Metro District in 2010, the Highlands Ranch Mansion is a step back in time to when this area was used for farming and raising cattle. You can learn more about the mansion with some easy internet searching. 

 

THE ADVENTURE LAB IS AVAILABLE EVERYDAY 5a - 8p EXCLUDING PRIVATE EVENTS. The bonus is a short walk away from parking and should have no interference from any event there. Click here to launch the Adventure Lab.

So I guess the third time is a charm for this one. I came out here sunday, but the mansion was closed for an eventhanks. I came yesterday but didn't have time to look for the cache before work. Got it today. We have been coming to the mansion for 20+ years-- mostly for the Christmad holiday festivities-- which are fun for kiddos. My son believes in the ghost. Wish I had read the hint.... but quick find still. Grabbed a tb.

I had never visited the mansion. It’s an incredible place, both the gardens and the interior, and kudos to Highlands Ranch for preserving it and opening it up to the public. Definite favorite point here… this is what Adventure Labs are all about. Took 1 trackable and left 3. TFTC!

Day 233/366: This is what I like most about geocaching -- bringing me to places I otherwise wouldn't have found on my own. I got the notification of a new AL whose description was enough of a reason to visit. And there's a bonus smiley? And it's a non-micro? And it is on grounds that we can tour and something that mugg-L would enjoy? I would have come yesterday but they were open for tours today. It was only after getting back home that I realized there is also a traditional cache on the grounds. Looks like I have a reason to return later. tft , X: TB, SL
