Frack View



This all started on a normal drive route where I saw a ton of fracking. Now it has become more like barn view, and how many of places can I find to hide a cache. Enjoy caching.

From this location looking north count the number of taller tanks you can see. Make sure you get them all and call this number Y. Then count the number of green utility boxes you can see from this location, and call this number Z.
Z^3 - 3 = A
X * Y * A * 0 = B
Z = C
Y - Z = D
Y - Z + 1 = E
D * Z = F
Y / Z = G
F + 1 = H
G - 1 = J
A = K
Y = L
D = M
Z = N

This is my "multi" find on a 9-cache type day. I'm heading to Cheyenne for the Webcam and an event, so this was an easy multi that I spotted in my search that would be on the way from Denver. I passed by an old homestead that has seen better days. And there sure is a lot of fracking going on in Weld county.

Again, this one took us longer than it should have.

D * Z = F should be D / Z = F, but we figured out what F had to be via other means.

Tank count all good.

Green utility boxes -- well, it depends upon whether you're counting the green utility boxes on BOTH sides of the road that can easily be seen from this spot. Still, there was only one number that worked to make a decent set of UTM numbers, and we went with that.
