I can find a Beaver!

This series of caches are hidden along about 1/2 mile of the Plum Creek Trail in front of the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

This 10-foot-wide, multiuse paved trail follows along East Plum Creek and lower Sellars Gulch between Castle View High School on the north end and the Montaine neighborhood on the south end, with future plans by Douglas County to connect to Columbine Open Space and the southern extent of the county.

Recreational users and commuters can enjoy scenic views of the riparian areas and creek-side habitat, as well as connections to Downtown Castle Rock and The Meadows, Kings Ridge, Montaine and Crystal Valley neighborhoods. Interpretive stations along the trail provide great opportunities to learn about the wildlife found in the area, as well as historical facts and other environmental features. As part of the Colorado Front Range Trail, the Hangman’s Gulch Trail junction provides a connection to the Cherry Creek Regional Trail, located 8.8 miles to the east.

Construction of portions of this trail have been partially funded with grants from Great Outdoors Colorado and the Land and Water Conservation Fund.

Parking is available on Meadows Parkway, with additional on-street parking at Castle View High School, Festival Park and along South Perry Street. The trail also has pedestrian access points on Sabercat Way, Kinner Street, Wilcox Street, Perry Street, Fair Street, Plum Creek Parkway, Douglas Lane and S. Plum Creek Boulevard.

Last cache of the day. This place was total gridlock. Decided to head home, and come back when it was less crowded. Thanks!

About 15 feet south and a little west from our solution.
Today I headed south with OUT14ND3R to find some caches. We focused on the area around the Rendezvous event. It was a little frustrating with bad coords as so many of the caches. I'll add amended coords when I can.
Thanks for the cache!

Much more enjoyable today with cooler weather & not under the gun. Sad to see the beavers gone though.
