We found this Cache after trekking the 1.5 miles from the trail head. 3 miles all together. Tougher hike, but such beautiful scenery. Last entry was just a few days before us, lots of goodies and some trash. We cleaned it out, added some goodies and took in the scenery. Ruby Jewel lake is a one of a kind find in itself. Worth it, even just for the hike! Wear a good pair of shoes and a wind breaker as the final destination is 11,000 up!

Amazing hike! Varied terrain, challenging but not impossible because it's fairly short. Still plenty of snow and ice in early July and a lot of mud from what melted. Fairly easy to find the cache.

More difficult hike than anticipated for us 50 year olds, but I made it to the top. Kids age 14 and 19 had no problem. Beautiful views on the way up. We did this during our annual camping trip to North Michigan Reservoir. Now back to school and work for all of us. TFTC! We left a little frisbee.
