I remember when that crazy old man came through town one day whoopin' and hollerin' saying he struck gold.

"WAHOO! YIPPIE! I'M RICH! Those turkeys by the bluffs lead me straight to the motherload!"

Everyone laughed and called him a fool. Several years later he returned and issued a challenge;

"Those who can find my treasure will recieve some of my gold... BUT BEWARE!!! The turkeys in that creek are ravenous! Don't look them in the eyes."

Many before claimed to have found it, but legend has it that his treasure was never found. Even to this day...

The description on this one seems rather funny since there used to be a geocache here long ago and a crazy old man came out of the nearby house and yelled for me to get off his property!
No problem this time, thanks

Quick stop on my way back from the Community Celebration event. The evening has cooled down so nice that it was fun to hike around the park for awhile. Thanks for the cache. All good with container and log.

I've been hiking in this park a couple of times a week for the last couple of weeks due to my middle son. I saw this one come out over the weekend and thought, boy I went just past that area a couple of days ago. Came out today and after going a little bit past the area I came back and there it was just where it should be. Nicely hidden. Thanks very much for the hide! Signed the log, WitzAbout.

CONGRATULATIONS to Hartsdale on his 1,622nd FTF!!!

This cache has been inspired by other hobbies I've picked up since the last time I went geocaching back in 2013 in NM. I disappeared for several years from the hobby due to growing up and finding my way. I moved to CO 7yrs ago and met my future Mrs. Bugger. We placed this together in a spot we go to collect turkey feathers and prospecting is a hobby I've picked up in my time in CO. This is our first cache and we plan to place many more orientated on our lives together and our hobbies. Along with some fantastic trackables that are in the works. ;) Happy Caching, Friends. Hope to see you all around sometime. We are happy you all get to enjoy this cache with us!

Mr. & Mrs. Mud_Bugger.

I was on the way back home and took a slight detour to look for this one.

It was published over a hour ago and the log was still blank.

Thanks for the vile of gold for the FTF prize!

Kind of a fun little hide for your first, thank you again!
