Didn't find anything but a baseball but the mosquitoes prevented me from getting a better look.

Smoochers, dog walkers not using the dog park and a man who decided to sit over on the bleachers, then walk back to his car??, kept me from doing a search here. Maybe on a colder day.

Danndy - just move down a couple of feet. You had the right idea.

In good shape, and unlikely to be muggled here!

Plenty of Wasps but the cache isn't by any. Still be careful. Found the cache and signed the log.

Laced up the sneakers and harnessed up the geo-hounds to chase this one down today. 2.8 mile round tripper. Almost gave up but persistence paid off. I just kept looking where the wasps weren't.

Like the others in the party said, we were a little reluctant to move too many of the hiding covers, but sometimes you just have to go for it! I had GZ looking pretty friendly and fortunately, that's where it was! Got in, got out without any uninvited guests! TFTH SL

GanderGoose had a list of caches to find after an event this morning. I still haven't filled in very much of my map around here and I like caching with friends, so Sqweeter and I tagged along. When I pulled this cache up, I recognized it was in my kiddo's favorite park. I got separated from the other two in traffic and I was surprised the others weren't waiting for me. I waited for a bit and called. LOL they were shocked I was 250 feet from the cache when they were almost .2 miles. I pre scouted GZ and found several wasp nests. When the others joined me I warned them, but they were much braver than I was. I would have waited until November when the little beasties are frozen. But GanderGoose and Sqweeter kept poking right were the next was, faces way too close in my opinion. One or the other of them pissed off the wasps and the search moved over a little. Soon enough Sqweeter called out he found it. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2694.

After attending National Honey Bee Day with the 77s, I went caching with lasouthpaw and Sqweeter. On the way to the cache, we lost lasouthpaw in traffic. My vehicle GPS brought Sqweeter and me to the adjacent neighborhood. Meanwhile, lasouthpaw parked in the convenient parking lot near the ballfields. Sqweeter and I had a nice hike of .17 miles to GZ. You certainly have some good cache guardians with the wasps and red ants. After a long, scary search, Sqweeter spotted the cache. Thanks for the placement, whoforest!

Heading up to the NoCo dinner and caching on the way. For some reason this one gave us a really hard time. Maybe because we were a bit nervous with all the wasps and wasp nests. Watch where you put your hands !!
