Frack View

This all started on a normal drive route where I saw a ton of fracking. Now it has become more like barn view, and how many of places can I find to hide a cache. Enjoy caching.

13T E-ABCDE N-FGHJKL
Notice the BIG fracking site here right next to this neighborhood. With the current big walls I could not see anything so this time you get to look at the green boxes in the area. There is a box to the north with a 4 digit number RSTU and a box to the south with a 5 digit number VWXYZ.
T - H = A
X - T = B
S = C
Y = D
(Y + Z) * Z = E
Z = F
U * Y + T * V = G
X - Y = H
R * Z = J
J - X = K
Z - V = L

Today I was out and about caching in the area with the always cheerful herndonrd. We were looking for letterbox hides, Wherigos, What the Frack multis, and whatever else tickled our fancy.

The math did take a little bit to get right, and then herndonrd used some deductive reasoning to determine where we should search. Sure enough, he was right and moments later we had the container in hand.

After we put our ink on the log we put everything back in place and then we were off to find another one. Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great day of caching.

P. S. No animals (including humans, aliens, or PayMeCache) were harmed in the writing of this log.

This cache was appropriately called Schnauzer's Revenge, as it was the hardest What the Frack multi we found today. The math was very tedious, and the conversion to normal coordinates was complicated. Ug. But nerak2001 used her fine-tuned geocaching skillz and make the find! Whew, I had a headache after this, but a smiley on my map! yea! :)
Thanks for another multi cache - only 46 more to go for me to qualify for a challenge cache that I signed months ago. Cheers!

Went for a drive around the Fort Collins area with "animjason" on a warm and sunny day - this was the fourty-second of fourty-six geocaches that we found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Love this series, so working on a few more while in the area with Bhob. Couldn't see a #50 active or archived, but working on the rest. Thanks for the series and the multis. Helps in my journey towards 500!

I had found a number of the What the Frack multi-caches in early 2017 but have had other activities occupy my agenda over the intervening months. So I decided it was time to get after this interesting series again and hit this portion of "fracking country" with my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo. Found a few more of these caches, and will return soon for some others. I recall when all the land in this area now being used for hydrocarbon extraction and for residential development was highly productive, irrigated agricultural land. The dramatic alterations in land use since the day long ago when Denali50 and I came to see a Whooping Crane resting in this general area during its migration, is the major takeaway from the observations I made today while seeking out geocaches. What remarkable changes have occurred!

Thanks for this series, Barasaur. I hope to return soon to whack away at some more of your fracking multis.
