An Easy find for the first geocaching experience

Located North of the fence, Sir Geocoin and his entourage has planned trips here. Ideal view of the dumpster to the East and the Rockies to the West. No moving of the Rockies needed. In fact the cache does not move either, it attached. Always kid friendly. Enjoy your visit to the Three Stumps Hotel, nestled amoung in the Red Rocks area. Invite your tradables and trackables to visit on their journey.

No geocaching between 9pm and 7am.

Third locked ammo box has been added. (A) Should you have a TB you want to call home and have no place to ask it to be sent to yu may use Three Stumps Hotel. If you notify us, we will track the TB and when it gets to Three Stumps, it will be moved to our locked "Will Call" box. You will be given the combination to the lock at that time. Your TB won't hit the road again before you can get here to pick it up. (B) If we know of a planned journey a geo-cachers is taking, we will act as a collecting point for TB's who want to take the trip with the traveling cacher. (C) Probably other uses, but we will see how it works out. See what can be done to provide the best service to the Geocaching community.

Visiting from Chicago and I had brought several travelers so this cache was at the top of my list. Stopped by here and found the cache quickly. Got to meet the friendly C.O. Dropped 3 bugs. There were no other travelers at the hotel when I visited. Thanks for the fun.

#1216 it was very nice to meet the cache owner and that he held on to one of my TBs for me to pick up, that I have not seen since 2014. This stop is part of my cross country road trip and i did it after going to Tarryall GC18.

Thank you! Thank you! I’m logging now, but will edit the log update the bugs as soon as I get back to computer.

Update: Now that we're back to the computer, I really must say, we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. My nieces are hooked on caching! I love that I was able to give them this experience. Thank you Mr. DustyRiver for the great conversation and great bugs that you have. The chicken is my favorite.
