“What’s in a name?” Shakespeare wrote many years ago. In this case, it’s a hint about what’s ahead. And before you get excited about needing to use batteries for some really cool gadget cache, I’m sorry, but this isn’t one of those. You will need batteries to power some of your own devices though. And you will definitely need to be very observant. One of the things I’ve enjoyed about geocaching over the years is the requirement to be observant.

To notice the things that don’t quite belong. Or to see beyond what might be right in front of you. This happens with puzzles as well as the hides themselves. Granted, sometimes my observation skills are terrible and I have to PAF! But when the power of observation is working, it feels great!

I truly hope that with this cache you’ll be able to get through all the stages on your own with careful observation and deduction. It’s challenging but not ridiculous.

All parts of this cache will be within the general park area. No driving required after you’ve parked for the first stage.

This cache may require more than one trip. You may need a tool you didn’t count on...

IMPORTANT - The "tool" in question may vary depending on your source. If you are an avid puzzle solver though, this is likely to be something you have in your possession though.

MAJOR congratulations to LostInDenver, WindAtMyBack, and 2lablovers for persevering for the combined FTF!

 Hints

[Stage 1] - Did you remember to bring all your TOTT? May not be winter friendly.
[Stage 2] - Don't stop short. May have been a typo. If so, disregard and use common sense to figure out what I meant.
[Final] - Do go chasing waterfalls

Finally got around to updating WP2 so now everything is correct. I STRONGLY recommend wearing long sleeves/pants that you don't mind getting dirty.

Finally! After tripping myself up on one of the steps I finally can claim a smiley. Benj straightened me out and it was quick work from there. Thanks for the fun multi!

There is critical information at WP2! It's not easy to get to, but you'll be thankful you did once you get to the final.

I've added an important bit of information to the description. There is one aspect of what you will find that needs to be changed slightly. I will do this very soon and let everyone know when that's been done. You can solve it as is, you'll just need to use a little brain power to deduce the right thing. Feel free to message me with questions.

It looked to be a good day to be out and about, so I decided to give this geocache another try - three visits, and probably more helpful hints than that, but I can finally report success. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Wow what a challenging adventure this was. Had the right TOTT at stage one but missed the meaning of the directions then ran out of daylight. Another trip or two by my huggle after work was still baffling him & I wasn’t able to get him to understand where I was trying to tell him to go. Over a few months I got confirmation I was on the right track but the next return trip yielded far too much water to proceed. Another stop & I got to the cache but hit a roadblock because I didn’t fully understand stage 2. Back out & time for the 6th? Trip. Stopped at stage two but couldn’t make heads or tales of it to get an answer so had to PAF & took faith he was right. Back again to GZ & eureka! Success! So glad because I don’t know if I could go through that again. Those who complete this on their 1st try & without help are far more better cachers than I!

As T5M said in his log, FeartheFish and I originally started with the T5M clan and we got to WP2, which required some deciphering. We weren't able to go back the next day like T5M but stopped today after caching with the CO for T5M caches. I took the shortcut for WP2 and then did the rest of the hard work (like usual) while FtF stared at airplanes or some such thing. Got to the waterfall, opened the container and signed. Was frustrated in my attempt to jailbreak so had to trudge all the way back. Really neat multi that deserves a fav! TFTC!

Were do I start with this one? Let’s go back to yesterday when Fearthefish, Herndonrd, MagicCacher and I started on this journey. We thought how hard could this really be!! We headed to GZ and in a few mins we found the info needed and where to start the next part of this journey, all while the CO and daughter laughed as we fumbled around.

So next stop was a more difficult place to get to and MagicCacher(a TOTT all in himself) found the info needed to the final. We looked and that’s when we YAAF!! You know what this means. We have to come back, since we were not prepared.

After finally being prepared, we headed to get the final. Easy some might say except when you are almost swept away by a raging river/waterfall!! Almost 10 mins later we had the final in hand and signed the log!! Earned a favorite point, for the whole journey. A-Z we loved it!! Definitely ranks up there with one of the more difficult hides we have retrieved.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

Co-FTF with LostinDenver and WindAtMyBack. We had just gotten home from getting some caches when @LostinDenver and @WindAtMyBack called and asked us to join us in this search. We got the first stage and then the real work began. We struggled quite a bit here and finally did it our own way. I'm sure it wasn't how benji intended but i know we put a lot of time and work into it - probably more than if we had done it how it was intended. We had just finished when @animjason showed up. After we all congratulated him on his celebrity status, we waited while he completed everything and then we all chatted for some time. Thanks benji for a challenging cache.

New multi?!? Yay!

Ran into some friends who had just finished, and they hung out to watch me suffer haha. Also got some guidance when I observed something, but didn't realize I didn't observe it enough.

Loved the waypoints. Definitely gets a fave. I love these styles.

Dropped two trackables that they picked up to take to Australia.

Thanks benj5959! Logged Power of Observation from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

CO- FTF] at 2:05 pm with [@WindAtMyBack and @2lablovers . I love these! I gave it a favorite, unfavorited it, again and again so it would have 5 hearts (but it doesn't work that way). Geoinstincts helped us a lot. Tftc!
