Honoring 25 on 25 Mesa Road

This series has been set in appreciation of local geocachers who have contributed to and enhanced our geocaching experience since moving to the Delta area. Each cache's name is a 3 letter abbreviated form of the geocacher's trail name. This one is TeamDharma.

Thanks to Pioneer Poodle for the series idea, the help she gave us as new geocachers, and the fun we had doing her Via Linda Trail in AZ

As always in arid country, watch for unfriendly flora and fauna.

W e ll . . . . ? not sure what gives. Had determined to visit a friend that lives WAY up Roubidou canyon, 2nd generation - totally off the grid. Having come that far also determined to check this cache out even though we just had a major snow storm yesterday and figured had a less then even chance of even finding it. YaHoo, as approached knew exactly where it was, had to ford 2' snow in the bar ditch and dig down through 6" snow cover but had cache in hand quickly. Came prepared with new container and pliers to get access to log - What gives? opened up in my hand like a quality jewel case! Anyway, old cache was looking shabby, had new one in hand so replaced but would advise all IACG cachers to smack the cache against a rock, post, old tree or even you boot before deciding its rusted shut.
