Found cache. Been wanting to visit the Summit Springs Battlefield for a long time. Was down in the Bethune, CO, area doing the cross geo-art. Came up this way for the battlefield. Arrived and had a rather nasty storm approaching. Quickly found this cache and the other nearby cache. Had just enough time to quickly hike to the battlefield; explore; and quickly (sort of) hike back to vehicle. Last 300 yards or so was hit by hail/rain. At least I finally made it to the battlefield!! Cache in good shape. SL.
