Somewhere far back at the creek is a rainforest bridge that has many types of plants and trees. But the one I see near the cache has fruit on it.

This is my son's cache, he found the location and wrote the description.

Biked over here tonight to get a lil exercise and enjoy the smoke-ladden atmosphere. Looks like I wasn't the only one with that idea; there was a non-stop flow of muggles for 30ish minutes so I had to give up my search. I will be back at a later date to make the find.

After dropping off my daughter at a friends house for a small birthday party I decided to hit the closest cache in the area. I saw this one and it seemed like a relatively easy grab.

I parked and got to GZ and didn't spot anyone. I found the cache pretty easily and had the right TOTT to extract the log. I can't recommend the Leatherman Squirt enough as an addition to your keychain. It is PERFECT for situations like this. Anyway...

As I was rolling up the log to get it back in the container I noticed a biker followed by a SWARM of teenage joggers coming down the path. i decided to just grab everything and walk up the trail a little ways to get out of their way. After the last straggler passed I headed back to the bridge. Only to see that there was a SECOND WAVE of teenagers. So then I walked the other way to get past them. Once I passed what I knew was the last straggler (because she was walking) I did the u-turn and went back to the bridge, got the log in and replace it as I found it.

Not the first time I've run into a pack of teenage runners on a trail and I'm sure it won't be the last! Just didn't expect it in the midst of everything.

Thanks for the hide JJDenver

I went and checked on it this evening and the cache is still there. The log is hard to get out so I think it might have gotten torn the last time someone signed it. I will have to come back this weekend with a better log and way to roll it up.

So I had just finished helping Benj59 move and got into my car and noticed this one had published. Made the drive over to try for FTF but too late. Anyway got another cache. TFTC!

Noticed a new HR cache as I was nearly home from running errands, so a quick detour was made to find this one. Signed log. Thanks for the new hide off a nice neighborhood trail!

[FTF] 18 minutes after publishing :) I was at a slight advantage because I live less than a half mile from here and wasbl literally doing nothing, aside from watching golf. This is only my second FTF, so that's cool...and, it keeps my daily streak going, now at 113 days, I believe.

It was a pretty quick find but difficult to extract the log. And of course because I so quickly raced out of the house on my bike, I did grab and TOTT's. So I rode back to my house, got what I needed and signed the log.

Thanks for placing this so close to home!
