This is our first Geocache in Colorado. It is on a nice walking and biking trail with a great view of the lake. You can get a great veiw of the lake at sunrise & sunset. You can park on the side of the street right next to the trail. You will have to bring your own pen or pencil. Some cool animals you can find are prairie dogs and sometimes at sunset even coyotes. Hope you love it!

I realize everyone enjoys this hobby on their own terms. I typically don't read the notes before I decide to head out and see a particular cache. This one was on my way to a few others and I decided to grab it. However, as the CO indicated on 28 May that it wasn't there, which I didn't see until I gave it a good 5 minute search. Then decided to research.

It appears the CO doesn't understand how maintenance works. Logging it as "Maintenance" is generally done when the CO visits the geocache location and either replaces the geocache, log or both. Or simply checks in on it. It doesn't tell us who are wanting to find it that the geocache isn't there.

The CO needs to disable this geocache if he/she intends to visit and replace it soon. Or archive it if he no longer desires to maintain it.

Please do the right thing. Thank you.

If the cache is not available then DISABLE it so it won't come up in a search.

I like getting all the caches within a three mile radius of my home and work. I had them at one point but there’s been new caches I’ve needed to get to accomplish that. This is one of them. Beautiful day to get this and I took advantage of that to walk a bit on the trail. And per the hint, I did a little CITO too. Great to be out on this part of the trail.

Once we arrived at the GZ we have to say this is a sneaky hide. I assure you it is there and very well placed.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

Disappointed couldn’t find this one as it was the first time taking my girls out. Not good to get skunked the first time. We see that it was found yesterday, but the note said probably not in the original spot. Perhaps the owner can check on it and get back to us. Thank you.
