This is a cache & dash on way to hike Crystal Trail, a part of the Kirkpatrick Trail System. Or a trail to Ring the Peak, as in Pikes Peak. You will need to carry your water. There is no potable water along trails, creek & reservoir water is NOT safe. Don’t drop any cig buts on our trails. This cache is approximately 3 miles from southern edge of the Waldo Canyon burn area.

You can park within 25 ft. of this cache on private property. So let’s be respectful, permission is given.

There is a puzzle once the location is found. You must move a peg or two that are round. If you have a mind that is keen, then zoom the cache and the log will be seen.

The cache contains a log book, pencil, disclaimer, and usual items for trade. 5 feet high. This cache is not attached to the house or walkways. It is closer to the street, so truly a cache & dash.

Congratulations to the 3 WilliamsKidz on FTF.

We had made plans to attend the Creation Celebration: Woodland Park Create-a-Cache Event, and stay overnight to work on our Creative Carnival Souvenirs Happily we earned all of our souvenirs early on, but decided to follow through with our plans. We had a very lovely weekend in the Colorado Springs area with beautiful weather and fun caches. We also had a great time at the event learning some new things, winning some amazing items, putting some faces to names and making some new friends!!. Very nice hide and camo, TNLN, SL,TFTC

Thank you psych01 for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

I needed a find for 12 January and this was it. I'm always a little nervous snooping around this close to houses, but the description made it sound like I was okay. I spotted a couple of things that made sense and a closer inspection paid off. Great job on the container...it's always nice when people put some thought into them! TFTC!

Fruitbat had a Friday off from school so we came up to this awesome little town with friends to enjoy the musical swings before they are gone again. So nice to see these swings back here the last time they were here Fruitbat was only three. Wow! time flys, Five years later here they are again. I love the art and culture brought to this little mountain town every year for the Green Box Arts Festival. We enjoyed the swings and lunch nearby. We then headed for a find on the way out. Fruitbat helped the new little cacher find the Jayhawk! Thanks for the fun find, my parents would be proud since they were KU Alumni, Rock Chalk! TFTC!

I found this cache after visiting the musical swings. I wanted to take a short walk around this nice little town. In the winter the roads must be lots of fun to drive since so many of them are quite steep. Maybe it's not too bad when the summer folks move home and only the locals use the roads, but still. I found this cache with no problem and the cache and contents are in great shape. Took nothing, left yen, signed log. Thanks psych01 for placing this cache so that we can play!
