This Tree has probably seen more history than any historian.
This Tree has probably seen more history than any Historian. The Cache has been hidden at the base of this tree, Please respect the tree and be gentile ( I can't believe some Idiot cut a branch off of it with a chain saw ) At any rate this tree is at least one thousand years old. The road to this area is closed during Winter and Spring making this a seasonal or walk in cache. In the fall this is a popular Hunting area so wear some Blaze Orange. In the early Summer there are lots of Columbine so bring your Camera. In the fall and winter this is a hunting area so wear some blaze orange. BYOP

I took a little detour to find some caches along this road. Hardly anyone out here today. It was threatening rain but there was none while here. I made the find at 12:58 pm. Thanks for the cache and the detour!

I really like these bristlecone pine trees. There is a bunch of them in the immediate area.

Last cache on my trip to a close by camping area. The tree was really unique. Almost missed the cache. TFTC
