A geocache to show support for our local fire department. Below is a little history on the Cimarron Hills Fire Department. Should be a quick one! Peterson Rd is busy so watch out for muggles!

Cimarron Hills Fire Department (CHFD), founded in 1972 and covers 75 square miles in El Paso County including the areas of Akers Acres, Cherokee Ridge, Colorado Springs, East Ridge Park, Hillcrest Acres, Northcrest, Palmer Park, Sand Creek & The Springs.

Found it the 2nd time around! Came here an hour after it published and the kiddos couldn't find it. They spent about 10 minutes searching then gave up because it started pouring. Ate dinner and decided to try again! They found it this time and what a fun surprise they found when they opened up the log! A cute tiny red truck just like the one where the cache is placed. We always have a little race when FTF is at stake. My older daughter got the FTF on this one and my younger daughter was super disappointed once she saw that tiny truck, lol! Thank you for the fun hunt and awesome swag! We really enjoyed finding this one ?
