Doc Holliday's Grave.
Doc Holliday - Dentist, turned law man, turned outlaw, turned Dentist is buried here. For a brief outline of his history go to Doc Holliday

Doc seems to be the Patron Saint of the vice crowd. To claim this cache please post a description of what you found at the grave. It is always interesting and sometimes amusing. Photos would be nice too.

On our way back to Denver before frying to the UK after an excellent road trip.

Looking to fill some time before heading off to supper we settled on the two Doc Holliday caches. We probably wouldn’t have bothered if we’d known how much of a climb was involved (looking forward to the return to full-fat air in England) but it was worth it for the history when we got there.

Seen at memorial were playing cards, dice, cigarettes, counters, money. Images attached. TFTC

We are travelling around Colorado on our first trip to the USA enjoying the beautiful countryside and doing some caching along the way. We stopped in Glenwood Springs and decided to try for this virtual cache. We enjoyed the steep walk to the cemetery and headed over to the grave marker and information board. Today there were stones, coins and cigarette butts on the slab. Thanks to the CO for this cache.

Day 5 of an epic 6 day journey out to the western frontier. I had some vacation time that I needed to burn up by the end of the year, and what better way to use it than to go Geocaching! My main goal was to find caches in New Mexico and Nevada, which would complete my map in the western US. The rest of the 4 remaining states are on the East Coast. Secondary goals were to find oldies, mostly virtuals, and high favorited caches. The only bad part of the trip was that it rained every single day of my vacation.

I headed south out of MN on Sunday and returned home on Friday.
Sunday - Drive all the way through to Colorado (15 hours!)
Monday - Cache in and around Denver and Colorado Springs, with an attempt at Pike's Peak (closed at Mile 14)
Tuesday - Head south towards GC19 and then west through Wolf Creek Pass
Wednesday - Four Corners monument and west towards Nevada
Thursday - After a night in Richfield, UT, head east through the skiing areas of Colorado towards Nebraska
Friday - The long drive home

Thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for me to find and for keeping the oldies going all these years.
Cool virtual! Thanks for bringing me here! A few rocks and flowers scattered about. I didn't stay long because it was snowing/raining.

Time to say goodbye to the grandkids in California and head back to Kansas City. Picking up a few counties along the way. Day 3 of the return trip. We left Grand Junction, CO, this morning. Got snowed on at Independence Pass, saw Doc Holliday's grave, got the oldest Colorado cache, did lots of twisty roads and saw some beautiful country while picking up 10 more counties. Thanks for all of the caches along the way to make the trip more interesting.

Just driving too close to this virtual to pass it by. It's only 1/10th of a mile from the car. No problem! (famous last words) My legs still feel that climb 10 hours later. But made it to the cemetery with great views of the city along the way. Great information here and at Kid Curry's grave. Missed seeing there was a traditional near by.

Thanks for the smiley.
