Dogs  Takes less than an hour  Scenic view  Available at all times  Available during winter  Wheelchair accessible  Bicycles  Short hike (less than 1km)

No parking along 120th Avenue. You will need to walk a bit over 1/10 mile by parking either north of 120th at Pecos, or better yet, the south side of 120th at Tejon (a bit shorter and no need to cross busy 120th Ave.) Wheelchair accessible cache.
The area is usually alive with bird activity. You may also have visitors but remember, elsewhere on the fence are signs imploring you to "Not Feed The Horses". Across the way is the Marion Barn and Windmill, also known as the Ranch Barn and Windmill. The iconic barn and windmill are located on Ranch Open Space. The barn was restored and moved about 150 feet to the north of its original location by the City in 1998 to prevent it from being demolished. An office building was subsequently constructed on the original barn site. The barn and windmill were a part of the Marion family farm which existed in the general area prior to the development of the Ranch Country Club and residential development.  The barn is owned by the City and is used by horses that graze on the Ranch Open Space. About 1/4 mile south of the Tejon parking waypoint, the road ends in a parking lot where you can get a better view of the barn and windmill. From there you can take a little longer walk to The Neighborhood Lake Cache (GCIVVCN) by taking the red pavers up the hill and then sidewalk for the rest of the way.

On my goodness, I loved this cache so much! Favorite point ??Parked at the bank on the north and made the short walk , then found in short order. Very clever! Took a moment to enjoy the view. Killing time between donating blood at nearby Bonfils and picking up the kids at theater camp, collecting some caches that I have driven by hundreds of times but never taken the time to collect. Thank you for this fun cache!

I was at the nearby park to tackle the multi with Sqweeter and we wandered over this way so I could get a smiley on the map for this one. The little one wasn't too sure about this one, she wasn't a fan of the traffic. But we made it over and back, she even ran a bit of the way. Then when we got to the park she talked us into playing a few rounds of hide and seek on the way back to the car. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2486

Met Chihuahuas-3 and Golden B's for breakfast and then we found some caches. A short walk brought us to this one and then a quick find. Thanks for the cache.

Chihuahuas-3, 2lablovers and I met for breakfast and then went caching. We enjoyed the walk to the cache on this beautiful day and found the cache quickly. The pencil is AWESOME! We were hoping to visit with the horses today, but they were all the way up at the barn. Thank you for the cache and for adding to our fun!
