This is a popular area for mountain bikers, hikers and joggers who use the various trails. Once you get to the starting coordinates look for the flat rock with the white "X" and lined with a half circle of small rocks. SIT DOWN (with your back to the circle of rocks) and look straight ahead and you will see the "crosshairs" in a natural opening in a tree. Sitting down look at the crosshairs (I am 6' and my eyes are at 30"s). In order the have the crosshairs hit the "target tree" some distance away, your eyes must be at 30"s in height above the rock you are sitting on. So if you are shorter or taller than 6' you may have to adjust so it is 30"s. Remember the "target" as you leave the crosshairs as there are several trees in the target area. The "target" has a small container with the final coordinates. You don't have to open or remove the container from the to see the final coordinates. Parking in available at the end of Canyon Rim Drive off of S. Camp Road in the Redlands.

went up and refreshed the white X and checked the intermediate and final resting spot which were in good shape... decided to drop a TB in the final as could not find a new cache that the TB would fit in....

There’s a storm moving in! I had a little time today, so I decided to explore the Easter Hill area. I had already found several the other geocaches in the area, but not this one. It took a little bit of time. But eventually I found the second stage and on to the final! Fun geocache! Thanks for the great multi!

contrary to the last cacher with a def, the crosshairs are right on if you are sitting at the right height on the white cross. check it today.
