Welcome to the Poudre Learning Center (PLC)!
The PLC is an outdoor educational center that works with K-12 students to inspire environmental stewardship through outdoor experiences and inquiry learning. Our property is open to the public from sunrise to sunset. We are thrilled to have you participate in our geocache! It's a great way to enjoy the outdoors. There are a total of four waypoints that will have you exploring Earth's four spheres, each one represented by a fairy. The containers (more like fairy houses) are hidden on our property. For each waypoint, you will find a riddle that will lead you to the other waypoint and eventually the final destination. The purpose of this geocache is to provide an opportunity for individuals of all ages to participate in a fun and educational activity. We encourage younger participants and puzzle lovers to solve the puzzles instead of the riddles - both included in the fairy houses. When you find the final fairy house, sign the log and exchange a gift. We want everyone to be a part of the fun! Our team members can provide alternative gift exchanges during regular business hours if you are unable to reach the final destination.
Your adventure begins with Daisy. To locate her, you must solve the riddle below :
In a garden of blooms, where colors entwine, lives a fairy so small with wings that shine. With twinkling eyes and a gown of green, she tends to the flowers, a magical scene. She sprinkles dewdrops like a morning mist. Each blossom she touches, by magic, is kissed. With a gentle touch, the petals unfold as nature's beauty gently upholds. She dances with butterflies, so light on her feet in the sunlit garden where joy is complete. With laughter that echoes like a soft, tinkling chime, the garden fairy enchants all of the time. In the moon's silver glow, she weaves her dream, a symphony of life in nature's grand theme. In this magical realm, where wonders take flight, the garden fairy dances with pure delight.
