This is the first in what I hope will be a series of caches dedicated to our men and women in uniform (and my first hide). I was unable to obtain permission to hide it near the Air Force Base, so this is a little bit down the road. 

 

Wow. Nice job guys. Congrats to Qaz, MikeAndJuli, and SquirtsExplorers for being the Co-FTFs, less than 45 minutes after it went live.

 

(8/3/2020) I went back today to better secure the cache, as it was just balanced precariously. As a result, I lowered the difficulty rating to 1.5.

 

(8/7/2020) After a few reports of DNF, I have incresed the difficulty rating to 2

WOW! Definitely a nice little hide. I'd say a slightly more difficult as a camo works very well on the container. Enjoy the search for anyone else.

I saw the new cache publish and told my wee one about it. She said she wanted to go find a geocache also. We put on shoes and headed out the door. We raced out to the GZ and parked. one second later MikandJuli pulled up and parked in front of us. we hopped out and chatted for a little bit and then the search was on! Mike made the find passed me the container. Yeah for another [FTF}! Afterward, we chatted some more. Squirtsexplorer pulled up soon and we went back to the cache for him. Oh, I love the meetups at a new cache!

- I was watching an Australian cooking show and the audience clapped when the chef made the meringue. I was surprised as Australians normally boo meringue.
