This is our first cache placement, involving all the relatives and their kids in the process. We are visiting but some live in Aspen and will service the site. We were careful to remain away from the ski area on NFS land. 

You can hike it, you can bike it, you can take the gondola or you can drive the back road up Little Annie Canyon. Not in the ski area. The cache is a 5"x3" tin, about Altoid size.

Had to walk a few feet west to get a signal for the coordinates.

We took a family ride on the gondola to take in the breathtaking views at the summit.

This took a little while, as like others have said it's under the other tree. But once we widened or search, we saw the cache peaking out. Signed, replaced it with a bit more covering camouflage and were on our way.

Even though it was raining and cloudy I was determined to find a cache this first time up here. Took too long in the wrong area at first but made the find.

Looked in the wrong place for a long time. A nearby tree has several rocks under it that might make one think the cache had been muggled but looking nearby the right place was finally found. TFTC

Looked around near where the phone zero'd out at GZ. Couldn't make the find. I want to come back and try to make this find. What a great day up on the hill.
