This is the first geo that my best  no brother has placed but it was him that got me into geoing. have fun the view is outstanding.

This geocach is on the way to the top peek of this group of hills, but there are starirs to it location. from this point you can see all the way to downtown Denver. but watch out for the bear that is over seeing this geo. even thoug there are stairs to this location you still have to follow the trail on the rocks.

Was surprised to discover a cache so close to our home on wheels. No luck this AM with my phone. After reading some old logs I tried it again with my trusty GPSr. Success in the PM.
Thanks for the hide.

We are staying in the RV park here and I found it this evening with friends that haven’t cached for many years. The coordinates are too far to the south. The original access to this area from the west is blocked at the stairs to the trail, but there is a newer informal trail to the right. There is also access from within the RV park from the far east side of the ridge then moving around on the south side of the ridge. The cache is NOT at the top of the ridge and definately closer to the bear's rear than any other part of him. TFTC

Doing a NC to CO run, to move daughter back to east coast. Camping at this RV park, so of course had to go after this 200 feet from my spot.

Didn't find cache initially at posted cords, but using alternate cords from aug 2015 found with no problems. 55 feet from posted cords.

Thanks NAVY#09 for placing the cache.
