Multicache in the former Town of Eastridge

5/31/17: Last digit of final West coordinate is "9"; may be hard to read,
An easy two stage cache in and around Eastridge, Colorado, once the Town of Eastridge, now a mere footnote to Aurora (the City That Will Eat Kansas). Placed on Colorado Day, 2006.
The cache is a two stage , neither very hard, and close together. The final is busy with mini-muggles during the school day. Drive carefully and cache responsibly. Think CITO.
WP1 parking available on the street in Eastridge.

The fishing line and PVC pipe at the initial location are not cache related; don't know what they are.

For WP2, park in the lot beside the Church, west of the park, and avoid the playgrounds and children.
01 May 2017: new container, same style, same location. Enabled the cache.
19 March 2017: replaced the initial with a major correction to coordinates.
06 march 2017: Replaced the initial stage, minor coordinate change for the final.
15 August 2016. Updating the hint: first stage is magnetic.
27 Feb 2016: replaced cache final stage with a three inch tall pill bottle.
02 March 2011: Emplaced a new final container 30 feet south of the location listed in the first stage.
17 Nov 2010: There is now a sign at the west entrance that says, more or less, "School grounds closed between 0800 and 1600". I've asked the Civic Association to clarify the status of the Park. 'Til then make the final a weekend or early/late cache.
16 July 09: Moved the peanut butter jar to the original location, replacing the 35mm film canister.
06 Jan 09. Changed the container for the final to a 35mm film canister.
17 August 07. Updated the hint.

I was out and about caching with herndonrd helping him complete the DPL series. For me, it has been great to be his DPL sherpa and re-find all of the great caches in the series. On our way back to his house we did some role reversal and he became my guide for this cache. He got to watch me fumble around a bit, which always makes his day. Eventually we made it to the final and he was an eye witness to my success. Hooray! After we did the whole sign and replace thing we celebrated our victory by heading back to the car and driving off to another one.

Thanks for the fun multi and for giving me one more thing to do while outside on such a beautiful day.

DNF AVENGED! (Finally) I apologize to the CO for the previous DNF. It is certainly here, but the difficulty level should be a 4 for someone of my inadequate intelligence. Well done and creative multi! Tftc!

Got some help from another cacher in finding WP2 coordinates. Not a bitterly cold day but plenty cold with the wind. Nice container and everything in good shape. TFTC!

Wow, this has been a struggle. My daughter @intrepiidexplorer and I tried this shortly after we started caching. Couldn't even figure out stage one. Today, I returned alone. Found the clue and went to look for the next stage. After poking around in bushes in 21 degree weather for 25 minutes, I gave up. Still can't make the find.
