YOU WILL NEED TO READ THIS BEFORE SEARCHING FOR THE CACHE!

Caches such as this one take a bit more to put together so PLEASE be extra considerate of muggles while hunting.

The Moon longed to meet the Ocean. Every night, the Moon looked down from it's lofty perch and called out to the Ocean "Ocean! Join me! You can feel my forces move you. We are meant to be."

The Ocean bubbled back 'I can not. For it is dark and I can not rise to meet you. The ebb and flow between us can not be denied, but the time has not yet come for us to meet.'

The Moon was not content with this answer. Every night was spent longing, wanting to get closer to the Ocean. Every bit of the gravity of the situation into pespective, but they knew, one day they could meet.

"Ocean!" the Moon cried "I'm sure we can be together!"

"We can..." the Moon hesitated "With just a bit of my fluidity, you could have me in the palm of your hand... but you may never really see the answers you need! Only if we work together..." but then was silent.

The Moon was sure the Ocean was playing games, but decided to think on it for awhile. As the ages past, the determination of the Moon and Oceans want to be together was born again in the form of this cache. The Ocean without the Moon is lonely and wet. The Moon without the Ocean casts but a thin sad light. Together, when the Moon and the Ocean meet, surely leads to a long sought happy end.

Come, see if you can reunite the Moon and the Ocean, and claim your own page in the saga.

Stage one: "Where they meet" Instructions:

The Ocean rests by a thing of it's nature, deep in darkness it calls to the Moon, but it is it's nature that is needed to help see the light.

Something should stand out. If you have identified the correct thing, you should know - it has an identifying mark. What to do from there is up to you to figure out, but ABSOLUTELY NO FORCE OR DISSABMLY IS NECESSARY. Please please please don't break stuff.  Ok, that's enough of a disclaimer I think. I need a tall drink of water.

The Moon must lead the way after, not before, for there is nothing to see without the Ocean first.  I hope you paid attention to the attributes of this cache.

Final: "The power of communication" Instructions:

No need to be unsure, 3 letters you know should welcome you. Happy to be reunited, they await you to sign the guest register.

Notes: This cache can be completed in either the night or day. However, there may be a much higher need for stealth during the day. It's essential you consider this at any time, as these types of caches tend to not do well if they get such attention. This IS part of the challenge of it, so please plan and hunt accordingly! Thank you.

Congrats for the FTF goes to Denali41! Some of his hides around the area certainly help lend this cache some ideas, and his know how came through quickly!

 Hints

Oceans are water... a good bit. The moon has left his own mark on this page, and will require a tool as well. Bring both the ocean AND the moon.

Ah good! :) I was worried that cachers have gotten too used not reading a cache listing. Seems everyone so far is doing great! Thanks for that. Happy caching all!

Thanks for the new multi cache. After work I headed out with REW9828 and AngieFrog with all the TOTT's I thought that we would need. After traversing through the traffic and heavy smoke we arrived at GZ. We searched for stage 1 and located it. We did not bring our kitties with us, we left them at home. We were able to unite the Moon and the Ocean. . We figured out the next stage and proceeded to it's location. The cache was found.

Thank you Denali41 for the FTF geocoin. If I ever get FTF I will place it in a suitable container. This is my first FTF geocoin. I left a TB in it's place.

Thank you Dud&Plato for the new awesome multi cache. I look forward to the next one.

Now it's time to go feed our kitties.

I love the moon, especially when it is full and perhaps having a greater, lovely influence on the ocean. And I love the ocean. I’ve never lived along the ocean, but I’ve traveled over the years to all of the oceans on our globe. It’s always been fun to witness and appreciate the intersection of the moon with these oceans! My brother antlerridgeroad and my sister-in-law malaika54 live on the Olympic Peninsula in a lovely location overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. I really enjoy visiting them from time-to-time; amongst all we do, I invariably spend time looking down on the ocean strait and walking on the beach along the shore. The moon performs its magic there, as elsewhere. What a superb sight! What an experience to observe.

This morning I had an appointment with my dermatologist; I planned to use the travel into Fort Collins for my once-weekly grocery shopping time. Soon before I left the farm I noticed that a new multi cache was published–this one! I read the wonderful, creative cache description and knew that I’d need to expand the dimensions of my trip into town. I pondered things and realized what would be needed, so grabbed everything and got the items in the car and was almost late for my appointment. Then there was a recycling stop to unload an overly packed vehicle. Then there was stage 1 of this wonderful multi-cache sequence. I carefully heeded the caution about a daylight attempt by being very, very observant for any muggles. I never saw a single one!

After finding and signing the cache log as the {FTF}, I reflected on how well constructed this sequence is, and on the care that Dud&Plato has put into making this a very memorable multi! I took the FTF geocoin and plan to activate it today. I left another geocoin in the cache container–another “FTF” coin, but one that was activated long ago and that I’ve waited to place in a special cache where I was the first cacher to find. I’ve passed on earlier opportunities to place it during a FTF. This cache is so special that I instantly realized this is the one where the coin should be dropped. Thanks for a fine experience, Dud&Plato! You earn and get a Favorite point.
