Fortunately for the next cacher, I was able to wiggle around and get to my knees and stand up after falling near the white box. My keister was in a low spot and my legs were almost around my neck, well, maybe not that bad - but they were pointing up towards the sidewalk on a 90 degree hill. Fortunately, nobody walked by. What are you doing, they might say, nothing, I would say. But came away with a smilee, thanks Dusty for the adventure.

Heading up to the NoCo dinner and caching on the way. This was a hard one for us - shouldn't be surprised seeing who is the cache owner !!

Directions provided had us a bit confused. Spammer eventually spotted it in what we thought to be a position part way through the 'directional' instructions.

In the area running errands, figured I'd swing by.
Fun container!
Crazy to see all the damage the fire did to those apartments. Sad stuff.

Take the easy, longer way in to the cache. As stated in the description: Start 50 feet south of the GZ. Walk 20 feet east. Now head toward the cache, over the concrete man-cave. Sit and slide down to the immediate cache area . Begin the search. Direct route from the sidewalk is a bushwacking adventure you don't want.

Sqweeter may have been rained out but not me. Jogged out to claim this one and took the long way home to check out the fire damage at the nearby Westbury Apartments. Not much to see - dumpsters and boarded up windows. About two weeks ago, the fire took two lives, injured 14, and destroyed 69 apartments. Turns out it was set intentionally. BTW, I had no trouble with Ground Zero. It did not seem dangerous to me.

Saw a walked on path to go down & gave a bit of a look then the rains started, so gave up. Maybe on a better day.

We decided to head out early this morning on Mrs. SDC birthday to go grab these new caches in the area, before it gets to hot out. Took a couple of minutes to finally come away with the smiley. Very nice hide, SL,TFTC
