 Hints

After turning off Hwy 285 onto C.R.194 Go 2.5 miles to the information board. From behind board go due south 75-80 paces then turn East and pick your way to the top of the hill. It is hidden in a crack between two massive boulders with some smaller rocks tucked around it. It's just south of and below the top of the rocky knob if you look to your east you should see a juniper tree about 10 feet away it's the only juniper around.

Out on a very nice November day caching our way home from breakfast. This one is a tough climb but we persisted and found it. Woohoo! TFTC

OMGosh, that was quite a climb for me, but success! Nice views and yes, you do have to go all the way up. TFTC

I took the hard way up and scouted all over, to no avail. I didn't scale the topmost rock because I was alone and didn't want to risk falling.

Enjoyable short scramble to get to this one, with a rewarding view of the Arkansas River below! Nice spot to spend a few getting out to stretch the legs after sitting in the truck. Thanks.

Traveling through the area. Caching with 'retnurse' today. This was 1 of 5 today for us. I did not attempt as terrain for me, a non-hiker was a bit difficult. The terrain rating should be a higher number such as 4 or 5. 'Retnurse' trekked ahead, but was unable to find it even though GPSr said she was spot on.
