Native American Tribe series.
Allakaweah

The name applied by a tribe which Lewis and Clark located on the Yellowstone and Bighorn rivers in Montana. It was reported to have 800 warriors and 2,300 souls. This is the same territory occupied by the Crows and they are reported in some places as a Crow band.

You are searching for a large nuts plastic container that has been camoed. It is not intended to be a very difficult hide but the GPS reception was poor and coordinates were not the best on this day (cloudy and raining) so use the hint to narrow the search. Please feel free to post your coordinates to help others.

 Hints

No difficult climbing required. Look for a larger rock formation. The cache is in between two sections that are about 15-20 feet tall separated by about an eight inch gap. The cache is in the gap about eye level tucked away but the top is visible.

Two years since the last time this cache was found. Everything looks great with this cache. We are out exploring on this cold snowy day and having a great time! Thanks for placing this cache for us to find!

Realized when I arrived that I'd already found this one, but at least my grandson got the find! TFTC

Spent the day jeep-caching with Waawhoo, EstesLynne & the Memfis Mafia. It was my first time on a serious jeep-trail, and we had a blast! Went up to the plane-crash caches, and then picked up a few more on the way back down. Took a bit of searching the rocks for this one, and soon had the cache in-hand. TFTC!

Thanks for the fun day of caching.

We went out today in a couple of Jeeps and had fun picking up some caches away from the crowds. We have tons of photos and videos we will slowly upload. There were six in our group in all and I'm pretty sure I can safely say we all had a great day playing in the hills of Colorado.

Out for a 4WD caching day with waawhoo, the Memfis Mafia gang, and Bug Ranger. We picked this one up on the way down; I think we examined more spots than we should have had to before we spotted it, but we got it. TFTC!
