This cache is located near the summit of Elwood Pass. It is an easy find if you are in the area. .
It is a 45 minute drive from U.S. Hwy 160 via either the Pinos Creek FS Road in Del Norte or Park Creek FS Road S.W. of South Fork. Stop in the parking area on Forest Service Road 380 (Park Creek) near the intersection with Elwood Pass to start your search. Please take time to enjoy the little waterfall and the view. This is one of our favorite places on earth. We spend time here every summer just enjoying the surroundings

This cache is a small sandwich size rubbermaid with a log book and a few small items to trade. It was filled with a clip-on-watch, light stick and some rubber frogs.
We will check on the cache each year when we are in the area.

Please do not leave gum or candy in the cache. The sugar will disolve and make a mess in the cache. .
