I was camping at Guanella Pass campground and did some exploring. I found a great spot for a cache and I couldn't let the opportunity pass so I placed the cahce.

It is near the campground, but not on the campground site.

This cache may not be available in the winter.

Enjoyed the drive over to this cache, and I was amazed at how lush and green this area is. I'll have to come back when I can spend more time and find a few more. Cache #2658.

My mom said she'd like to go to Mount Evans, she doesn't ask for much so I had her pick a date and today was the day. We started off slightly later than planned, but not really a big deal. Mom said she's seen mountain goats every time on Mount Evans, and this time didn't disappoint. We saw them on the way up, while we were at the top, and on the way down. Found all the caches I looked for, which always makes for a good day. Thank you to all the COs for my high altitude finds!
