I took the long way to the ALE Event in Pueblo West today and stopped to hunt for a few caches. I was going to hunt for the nearby Stonehenge cache, but accidentally loaded this one instead. I didn't realize my error until I was almost there, and by then I figured I would just go for it. I hadn't expected to do any scrambling today, but it didn't look too bad so I climbed down the cliff. It took a while to get this one located. Naturally it wasn't on the level that I started on, but I eventually worked my way down to it. I was getting tired and was close to giving up when I spotted something that looked slightly odd. That turned out to be it. This cache required some field engineering for sure. That is an awesome custom made hiding place. Thanks for the fun!

Years ago my family and I had tried to reach this one, but came up against a creek we weren't prepared to cross. Now almost 10 years later we came from the other side and made the find! SL, TFTC!!

After grabbing the new Earthcache, I headed over here to give this one a try.

Very nice hide!

Thank you for a fun cache to find!

I got back to parking just in time, the wind started blowing so hard that I had a hard time closing my door.

Dirt and tumble weeds blowing across the road, so time to head home.
