This is the start of a small geocaching trail. 4 caches in total, all along the trail around the southern end and eastern shore of Pearl Lake State Park.

This cache is approximately 75' off the trail.

Pearl Lake SP is my wife and I's favorite canoe lake! Absolutely beautiful views, glass water (early morning), and the sounds of nature.

The original cache in this area was a micro, and ended up missing. We have upgraded the cache to a full sized regular cache with trinkets to trade! It has also been moved from the actual dock to somewhere along the trail around the lake, but still in the area of the bay.

Going north, you will cross private property, (there is a sign that states, "Sportsmen Welcome"), however, you will end up in a marsh that has no discernible trail. I highly recommend going south!

The original cache contents:
A 100 piece Spiderman puzzle
2 Squirt Guns
2 Hot Wheels cars (in the packaging)
A bottle of Soap Bubbles
3 American Flag pencils
4 Glow Bracelets

A logbook
Cache note
Pen

At a creative retreat in Steamboat and this was one of out excursions. Took a second to find but then my geo-sense kicked in and I made the find. Wish I had brought a few trackable to drop in. Ah well, TFTC!

This was kind of hard, but found it. I think we need a kayak or paddle board to find the other ones. We like Pearl Lake State Park. I wish Steamboat Lake State Park would be more supportive of their geocaches. I asked for info at the visitor center and all they had was a map with the approximate locations. Was very hard finding the coordinates on geocaching. Com. TFTC
