Copalis

Belonged to the coastal division of the Salishan linguistic family, they lived on the Copalis River and the Pacific Coast between the mouth of Joe Creek and Grays Harbor of Washington. Lewis and Clark estimated them as numbering about 200 in 1805. Though their name has been perpetuated in that of the Copalis River and Copalis Beach, the tribe itself is long gone.

It was a cold, dreary, gloomy day today. But, is there really ever a bad day to geocache? I had my second vaccination appointment up north in the afternoon, so I created a list of caches to seek before the appointment. I felt fine after the appointment so I decided to cache my way back home. I searched for 37 caches during the day and found 28.
