Well, you're on your way and have conquered the most difficult portion of the Boulder Canyon trail, soon to be moving above timberline. What a climb, no?? But the scenery will be worth ever bit of energy expended.

The cache will be hidden in a familiar fashion if you recently found the Boulder Canyon cache below. Again, the container is fixed, but the lid will easily unscrew. Enjoy the valley above.

COpackrat and I found the Storm Mountain cache 3 years ago and I remember looking down on this valley. Time flies and no one else had been up here to look for caches in that time. I thought we had a good chance of finding it after seeing the one at the start of the trail. I pulled up my GPS track from the hike and we spent 30 min looking on the way up and another 25 on the way down. In the end we left a replacement subject to the CO's approval. It is a climb but well worth it. TFTC

After finding the cache down lower, we knew what to look for, but I think that this attachment also failed after so long. We searched for quite a while based on the hint, and on the ground, but many years of detritus probably covered it. Left a replacement - please let me know if you have any objections. Thanks for bringing us up this valley - Whew!!!

checked on this one on the way to My Lake Front property. Did not make it all the way I was not prepared for all the water in the flats. Cache is good condition.
