#5779 ... und kein Ende in Sicht

Finaly. HQ20, here I come. Plans were made back in 2019. Well, we all know what then happened.
But now I'm here. One week of special caching. HQ, Ape, Jasmer... It's my first time in the USA. So, the plan is sightseeing (a little bit) and caching (a lot).

The fourth day of my trip. At first I drove to Mingo. Yes, the oldest one. Nice. Sadly, the plaque is gone. How? Who? Why? Next I headed for Arikaree. What a bumbly way. And then back to the airport. Some caches were seatched and found for statistic reasons. States and jasma and stuff. It was a long day.

Wow - fooled us with that one. We recognized the container as soon as we had hands on it, but getting hands on it was another story altogether. Not in one of the 'usual' spots!

Headed out geocaching with LASouthPaw today. Looking for traditionals to complete her 10 mile radius challenge. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find.
Don’t know what the previous cacher found but the log was new and unsigned so we are claiming {FTF} on this one. Please delete the previous found it log. Thanks.

Well, we were a little confused by the logs posted about this cache. When we arrived, we found a blank log. We believe the last person did not find the cache, so we are claiming the {*FTF*}. Thanks for the smiley!

I teamed up with FayColSalTom today. Isn't it funny how you find more caches when you team up with someone? First we headed to the Brighton area and it was a surprise to see tree limbs (and trees) down everywhere from a storm the night before. From Brighton we turned south and found a few along the river. With all the recent rain, we were swarmed with mosquitos. It started to get hot and we stuck with it a bit, but ultimately the heat zapped some of our energy and we called it a day.
