A cache just off Hell Canyon Road.
Hell Canyon is a steep glacial valley in the Indian Peaks Wilderness near the southern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. You will be looking for a camoed larger small cache, almost the size of a regular cache. So it could be a small regular or a large small cache. It contains a log book, pen and pencil and some small trading items. The parking coordinate waypoint is just a small wide spot on the road. From here you will be going uphill on a moderate incline for about 225 feet. The dirt road should be accessible to any car when the road is dry if you go slow and are careful but a high clearance vehicle will make the trip easier and safer. Be sure to check out The Devil's Own Cache (GCZT0Y) on the way for some fantastic views.

My second time up this road, but first time this far, so I grabbed this cache, and 2 others nearby. I had my mountain bike but the gears were not low enough! Quiet area just away from the highway below. TFTC.

Walked up Hells Canyon Road to get to El Diablo, but after finding this cache we had to turn around due to time constraints. TFTC

We enjoyed the trek up this road, even in the pouring rain. Thanks for bringing us out here.

I was out doing the caches along this road this afternoon as a way of walking my dog (two birds with one stone!). The trees kept going after me, but I found it soon enough. The cache is in good shape, except the baggies need replacing. I took an oversized toy for that cache and left a carabiner.

Got the chance to enjoy a beautiful weekend taking the entire family up here for this treasure. The kids really enjoyed the scramble to this one.

Fun find almost a favorite but the other nearby cache takes the award. Great views but even better on the cache a little further on. Had a great time looking for this cache and nice to have larger more challenging caches then the urban caches I have recently been searching for. TFTC!

This was the second of five geocaches that I found along this road today - I did not see another person nor vehicle the whole time. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !
