This cache is located up the old Rifle RAWS road. The Federal wildland firefighters still use this route for physical fitness training. They run from the fire station at the airport to the top of the hill, around the RAWS and back to the fire station. We older firefighters park close, hike up slowly and then carefull make our way back down. Bring water, take your time and have fun!
The original Electron Controller was stolen by someone who will remain a mystery. The new Controller is a little less conspicuous, so maybe he’ll stay on the job longer this time. Some of you may know of the Electron Controller, but I’m guessing most will not. When you find the cache, you will have an idea of his trade, but not necessarily his occupation. Hats off to the mysterious or mischievous cacher from parts unknown. Till we meet along the trail, have fun, look up every once and a while from your GPS, and always carry at least two extra AA batteries
