Gamma solved this puzzle a couple of years ago but we haven’t been in this area to look for the cache. Today was a beautiful November day for caching but not a very good day for finding :o) Looked in trees, stumps, and under rocks with no success. Maybe the aforementioned critter or the vagrant sleeping in the nearby tent absconded with the container. We’ll message some previous finders and come back for another look. Thanks for the cache.

I solved this puzzle a few weeks ago. I enjoyed solving it because it because I was able to do it without asking anyone for help. I stopped to find the final on my way home from the Broadmoor where I was attending the 33rd Space Symposium. I found it almost immediately, but a critter had chewed a hole in the bottom of the container and stolen the log sheet. I went back to my Jeep and got a container that fit inside the container that I found. I signed a new log sheet, put it all together, and re-hid it a little better than I found it.

In the area on some errands so took the opportunity to snare a few caches. This one had been sitting in the solved pile for a while. Found the container nearby that had been obviously chewed on by a critter. No log in sight. Put the container back in the nearby beacon. Nice hide. SL. TFTC

Out and about on a lovely Colorado Springs, CO afternoon. Solved the puzzle this morning and decided to find the cache before the winds picked up this afternoon. Nice trail…did not know about this one before geocaching. Scared a lot of rabbits away today. The container has a hole from being gnawed on, but the contents are in perfect condition. SL. Left better than found. Thank you, claudey, for double the fun!

Thanks for another fun puzzle cache! I was after a nearby cache and pulled up everything in the area. I remembered that I solved this one awhile back and it was very near me! I navigated a short walk to GZ and spotted part of the cache quickly. Retrieving it however proved to be impossible. I kicked and pried but to no avail. The tree has completely encased the cache within! Really cool actually! I contacted the CO who gave me permission to replace the container. It is only inches away from the original. Thanks for another great adventure!

Out caching with Mondou2 today. The weather was perfect for caching. We enjoyed the variety of containers and placements.
Nice puzzle and hide. We signed the log.
Thank you, claudey, for placing this cache.

Visiting from Denver and caching with Vivi. Enjoyed the hunt. Container is still there but tree has grown around cache making retrieval no longer possible without cutting down trees with chain saw.. Thanks for the fun!

We had to make two trips in quick succession to claim the smiley on this one. On the first, we identified GZ, but elected to allow a group of approaching hikers pass by first. Instead, they stopped less than 100 feet away, with a clear line of sight. For the next 10 minutes, they texted, imbibed refreshments, and took selfies. We gave up and returned 20 minutes later to find them FINALLY gone. A quick find ensued. TFTC!
