TURKEY FARM TRAVEL BUG HOTEL

This is a premium cache because I am trying to make this hotel as safe for our travelers as possible.  The Cache is a medium sized ammo container and it has a pad lock to help keep the muggles out.  Read carefully to figure out how to unlock the cache.

From the spot where this cache is hidden, if you look up the hill to the tree line along the ditch, that property belonged to "The Jackson Family" from 1956 until 1977.  It was the proud home of the "JACKSON TURKEY FARM".  This is where I grew up.  Learning to hunt prairie dogs in these fields, and learning how to fish at Stanley Lake.  The tree that is close to the "Try and Find it Cache" is where I built my first Tree Fort.  Most of my wonderful childhood memories were of growing up on the farm.  We raised Dogs.  We had Horses and Cows, and raised Rabbits an Pigeons.  We had a few pigs, and even raised pure bred cats for a while.  I had two pet squirles and two pet monkies.  I still love to walk the property and remember those times growing up.

The combination to the lock. The first symbol is the first letter of the last name for the Rockies First Baseman (#17 Todd Helton) who retired at the end of the 2013 season. His first name was Todd. The second and third symbols will be the two numbers that make up Todd's Number for his jersey while playing for the Colorado Rockies.  Please, if you take a traveler from this cache, treat it as if it was one the you had put out.  We put them out to travel, not to get put into someone elses private collection. 

THIS CACHE IS HIDDEN TO HONOR MY MOM AND DAD "THE GREATEST PARENTS IN THE WORLD," AND THE "JACKSON TURKEY FARM".

I love you Mom and Dad.  Thank you for all you did and continue to do for us.  We are the Men and Women we are today, because of the examples you set for us, and the lessons you taught us as we were growing up.

TFTC… found it but like everyone else before me it’s still attached to the tree there’s nothing in it and no log. Did however see a coyote on the way if you have a little kids keep them close.

Took the kids to find this one. It was a challenge to get to the cache, even for the kids. Lots of scratches from branches. There was no lock on the cache. We were confused at first, thinking the combo in the hint was for the bike lock anchoring the cache to the bush, but that was a 4 digit combo with no letters. Thanks for the cache!

TFTC! First time we've made it this far down the trail. Confirming there is no lock keeping the lid closed. Lots of H2O in the box. Gave the log book a new ziplock to help keep it dry!
