Enjoy the scenic walk and be sure to take a peek at the historic 17 Mile House to the east. Imagine what life would have been like in the 1860s when families traveling along the trail came upon the house and requested food and rest before continuing their journey. This house signified another 17 miles to Denver.

This cache is hidden at an Arapahoe County Park, Trail or Open Space. Here are some things to remember when visiting:
1) Park hours are dawn to dusk. Don't come after dark.
2) Wild animals, including coyotes and reptiles, may be present at this park. Please be careful.
3) There are no motorized vehicles on the trail.
4) Bring your camera. You never know what kind of beautiful images you may encounter.
5) Most of the County's geocaches are within walking distance of a shelter. So feel free to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the outdoors.
6) Enjoy! These parks, trails and open spaces were created for your benefit.
7) Snow may make things more difficult.
8) Please bring your own pen.
