From Naturita CO, take hwy 141 west about 2 miles. Turn left on hwy 90 for about 3 miles. Just past mile marker 29 turn right on county rd EE22. Go 1.7 miles on dirt road (a little rough put easy for any car. Pull off on a corner to park.
This cache is in my favorite spring and fall hiking areas. Great views and rock formations and you never know what your going to find out there. You will see the Paradox valley and the Lasalle mountains to the west and the Lone cone and San Juan mountains to the east. This area was once very active with uranium miners (not any more) so there are a few old dumps around to explore.

The cache is in a one gallon tin can with christmas scenery on it. Trust me, it is not over any cliffs so if your GPS says go over one, don't trust it. The cache is at about the same elevation as where you parked.

Original contents include:
mountain bike tube slime, Belt buckle, Fishing lure, Hat pins, Mr bubbles and a Taz air freshner.

There is a big pile of bigger rocks piled along the edge of a hill, I do not know what it is for but the cache is not at that point (the coordinates should let you know it is farther away) so please do not disturbe them.

This is in the great outdoors so please watch out for snakes, spiders and hazards along the trails.

This looks like a really neat area for exploration, however the gale force winds cut my visit short. Thanks.

Cache was rusty.

Found it without trouble. The container was pretty rusty and some of the metal contents inside were pretty corroded. It may not be very waterproof. Everything was otherwise dry.
