While sort of prepping for this trip. Discovered this challenge. Yup I got the green check from project gc! However my phone was awful in this area. AT&T doesn’t work well. Took longer to find.

Teammate Gate Keeper and I flew from Calgary, Alberta (Canada) to attend GeoWoodstock XVII.
We left a week before the Mega event with a To Find List of select (special) caches to grab while on our way to Fort Worth, Texas.
Unfortunately; I still have some work to do before qualifying for this challenge 
.
I am only missing 0 and 9

Hawks Eye and I were in the area visiting colleges and couldn’t believe our (my) fortune to see this challenge cache near where we were hiking! I will add my my qualifying caches when I return to Minnesota this weekend! In the meantime, enjoy the pic! Fav - TFTC

We’re in the area camping at the Garden of the Gods and leaving today for Cripple Creek. Finally made it up to this one and made the quick find. Mrs Geowinnies stayed with the truck while Mr Geowinnies and I ran up the trail to sign the log. I still remember riding on the Harley about 50 miles one day to find the last cache we needed for this challenge back in Indiana ... the one whose cache owner began with the number 0 That was a rare one to get!

This is the second alphanumeric challenge I have found. I don't believe I kept it on a bookmark list, but it is published on my public profile. I have also run it through Project GC. We found this one after touring Garden of the Gods and gathering info for the Earthcaches. My husband was busy taking photos while I found the cache. A group of hikers stopped him and asked where the balancing rock was!!!! Oops, I think they were going to have a long hike from here. TFTC

Out from Atlanta exploring Colorado with FLtravelers for a few days. He was able to finish all his counties, while I made more progress on the state. Lots of fun caches were found along the way, including this one.
