A great hike from either the East or West parking lots for Mt. Falcon park. (East parking is just South of Morrison, look for the signs. The West parking lot is in Indian Hills between Hwy 285 and Kitteridge.) Either way you'll have a bit of uphill hiking, at least half the way. Your reward is excellent views of the front range and of course my cache. Be sure to bring your own pen.

Be sure to go early to beat the storms and heat. Can be busy with bike/hike muggles, be careful. I suggest taking the Turkey Trot Trail if you are coming from the East Parking lot as it is for hikers only.

Detoured over to this cache. We had come up the turkey trot trail and were circling back to the car on the castle trail. It showed the cache 150 feet up the hill so my son sat to take a break while I ran up the hill. All in good shape. Tftc!
