Climb to the heights of the mountain king!

Summertime may be the only time to reach this one. Park as far up Jone's pass as you can. Or hike the whole way up. You can spot the ridgeline before coming up to see if you can make it through the snow to the ridge.

Found on our way back from Mt. Nystrom. Used clue from last log to find cache. Left a small rock from the Summit, so if you can't make it all the way you can still touch this rock.

It apparently went missing in the 2 years since the last find. I spent quite a while looking and finally decided to just put out a replacement. It's a camo'd 35mm film can. It's right at the edge to the right as you come up from the pass but you don't need to do any climbing to find it. TFTC

I appreciate those who have maintained this cache. I used to work nearby, but now I may fail in maintenance. I'll try and get it this year.

There's a big drift still blocking the pass, but I guess that serves to keep the riff-raff away... TFTC

Found the cache after a nice long hike/climb up the extensive snowfields and up the rocks at the very top. It was a fun challenge this time of year after all of the snow last winter!
The little box was cracked and the logsheet was wet, so I dried it out. I had a camo tape covered 1.5 x 7 inch plastic tube with screw on lid with me so I replaced the container. I signed the original logsheet and left it in the new container along with a pencil. Coords were right on. Thanks!
