Hazy view from cache

This cache is located near the Oil Well Mountain ATV trail at an elevation of 10,500 feet. From near the cache you have a 270 degree view of the surrounding mountains. The cache is near The Burn area of Oil Well Mountain. There are 4 different ATV trails that take off from the West Muddy Road (Forest Road 265) that reach the cache. A very good starting point is where Dyke Creek crosses the West Muddy Road. (N39 07.62 W107 33.49). At this location there is lots of parking and camping available. Cache is a 30mm ammo can that contains 6 Happy Meal toys. Please rehide the cache well as it is near the trail.

Congratulations to Bob Rich for the FTF

Back again a year later. Cache is still in great shape. What a shame this one doesnt get found very often. Incredible view and a great day for a 4wheeler ride. Went to Porter Mountain after this and that is an even more incredible view. TFTC

Wow, breathe taking view. Met some bow hunters on top, got a history lesson on the area and was shown where a plane went down during the war heading to Colorado Springs, yet another trip to plan. Uncle Bobs Mountain is my next cache from Co.Bob, can't wait to see this one. Dipped coins for mileage, left Hotwheel car, SL. My wife plans on taking her mom and sister on the loop when the colors change a bit more, I may have to tag along.
