You really can't miss this one! It pays homage to the locals whose lives were lost in Vietnam. Take a minute to reflect, and then answer the following questions via e-mail:
1. What was Delta Company's nickname, 1965-1970?
2. Of the Colorado Western Slope casualties, what is Victor Haglund Jr.'s middle name?

We are travelling around Colorado on our first visit to the USA enjoying the beautiful scenery and doing some caching along the way. Today we are travelling along the I 70 towards the border with Utah. We noticed this venerable old virtual cache and have sent our answers to the CO. Thanks to them for maintaining this cache. A poignant reminder of events that were always in the news in our youth.

Stopped by after living near here for a year. The speakers went off when Sly went on top and it sort of freaked us out. Found answers and will email to you. Thanks, a very nice tribute.

End of the second full day of my "EPIC Adventure 2018" trip with Brewce. Today was a big day....3-Y2K caches, one of which I need to complete my Jasmer for the third time. SO excited!! Also on the agenda was a Y2001 cache which Brewce needed AND anything that crossed our path.

We headed out from Milwaukee to the great West, on the agenda were: 8 - Y2K caches, completing my 3x Jasmer and setting me up nicely for 4x Jasmer, virtual geocaches, webcams, challenge caches, caches helping complete already signed challenges, high favorite pointed caches, and, most importantly, fun and laughter along with anything else we wanted to stop and do! We achieved all those things and more, so much more. Smile We saw things we never knew about or never thought we would see - amazing! Our timing for the entire trip could not have been planned any better. Driving by car is the best way to see America, it allows for impromptu stops and deviations, which we did...many times....and on this trip we drove a total of 4,500 miles and all I can keep saying is "wow, just wow!!" of all we saw. One of my best adventures ever thanks to geocaching, thanks for being part of it!

Brewce was driving and it was time to get some gas for the car....nice to stop and grab a few virtuals too! This was one lit up so it made it easy for us to move around, however, we did get stumped on one of the answers for awhile until finally we had a seat and made the find.

I submitted answers for both Brewce and I.

We’re en route home to Minnesota after a week-long adventure in Colorado and Utah. My muggle love has been relatively patient with my Geocaching addiction and allowed me a few minutes to nab this one! What a cool memorial area. Great spot for a virtual! TFTC :)

Thank you for maintaining this wonderful virtual. We were very moved by it. And really enjoyed the visit. My brothers Served, and I have great memories of the days that they came home. Having served myself in the Navy, I can appreciate coming home, and my heart and prayers go out to the families of those of my comrades who did not.
