The boiler in front of you was used by the Lake George Ice Company here in Lake George in the 1890's. It was the power supply for the operation of the ice house, in particular, the conveyor belts. Producing approximately 40 horsepower, this type of boiler was known as a "Locomotive Type" or "Tube" boiler.
Also on site is an old Log Cabin and some other artifacts.

Just happened to be going by with my granddaughter on our from Taylor Park to Florissant and decided to see if there were any caches in the area. So happy to find this new one.

I couldn't get here this morning so ran out a little bit ago and was happy that I am 2TF. Woo Hoo! Easy find in a good hiding spot. TFTC. Gets a FAV from me.

TFTC I was going to do I some computer work this morning, and the first email I saw was a new cache publication just a half hour west of me. It was too nice a day to stay inside so off I went hoping to find the cache and maybe a local Cacher to chat with. I found the empty log, but no one else showed up. This gets a Favorite point! {*FTF*}

All was in good order.
