Scenic view  Available during winter

Cache is a short walk in from Mountain Pines Rd. near the intersection with Sugarloaf Rd. There is a small trail and the cache is no more than a few steps off the trail.

Container itself is a micro but what you are looking for is much larger, it has been very well camouflaged. Please be careful replacing the lid as it is somewhat delicate.

Cache should be accessible in the winter if snow isn't too deep, just be sure you have a vehicle capable of managing unpaved (and possibly unplowed) mountain roads. If you have the chance, please follow this trail for a while, it is in a beautiful section of national forest, and I would have placed the cache farther in but I wanted it to be more accessible.

Congrats to benji55545 for FTF!

It's possible that the camo will prove very challenging, so I am happy to send you a picture of what you are looking for if you are unable to find it.

This was a fun cache to make, I hope you enjoy finding it just as much!

Title is a reference to Ottorino Respighi's "Pines of Rome".

It was hailing as digdug made the find, while my phone noted I was still 30 feet away! Love the container! Tftc

My GPS was dead-on this time, and the find was made quickly. Signed log and replaced as found. Great container, thanks!
