My sister and I dedicated this cache to a runaway dog. We found him on this road. We stop to see what type of animal cross the street. The dog started following the jeep. He was very fortunate to have tags on him indicating where he lives. It took us a little bit of time to find where he live but no one home. We called the number on his tag and one of his owners is in Texas. She told us where to put the dog so her husband can get him when he got home. What a interesting time we had traveling the roads out east.

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide poolsharkycat, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!

Finally some nice weather - warming up and the snow is melting. Time for some caching. Headed for the plains. We were a bit worried that the dirt roads might be muddy but had no problems. Only one DNF the whole day. Caches were in good condition except a couple cracked ones we replaced. Thanks to all the cache owners who placed and maintain these caches.
